The name of Miner's Landing Seattle comes from the gold strike of 1897, when a ship laden with gold and happy, successful miners docked at the pier. Today, that good time feeling lives on through fun attractions like the vintage carousel. The newest Miner's Landing addition, the Great Wheel, lights up at night and offers awesome views of downtown, the Olympic Mountains and Puget Sound.
